dundonald Links

Dundonald Links, situated near Troon in Ayrshire, is a modern links golf course that is owned by Loch Lomond Golf Club. It has played host to a number of professional and amateur tournaments, including the Senior British Open Championship.

Dundonald Links has been designed by the acclaimed golf course architect Kyle Phillips.  Kyle Phillips designs golf courses which very much use the features of the landscape, while incorporating the history of the golf club. Phillips has been awarded a number of high profile designs including Kingsbarns, St Andrews and The Grove, Hertfordshire.

In February 2003, Loch Lomond Golf Club acquired a new links course near the legendary town of Troon in Ayrshire. Dundonald Links has been designed by the acclaimed golf course architect Kyle Phillips.

The Ayr Races - if you fancy a "flutter" on the horses, then why not have a day out at Scotland only Grade 1 Racecourse. It hosts both flat racing and national hunt racing, including the Scottish National.
